Stargate SG-1

I just realized this is a great show. Mcgyver is even in it. Best thing is that it plays out in the near future, thus you can actually pretend to live the Stargate life, of fantasize about it. Pick up some dvd box of it, there's plenty of episodes to watch, with about 10 seasons. Obviously the first seasons are the best. Notice how Mcgyver actually grew old in the picture above.

That John Legend is good at making beautiful songs for making of love. Here's an acoustic version of "Stay with you". The original is one of the highlights on his first album (Get Lifted),
along with "Refuge" and "It Don't Have To Change". But that's an old album now (04') and his new album "Once Again" i haven't listened much to, but it lacks all the friendly lovely sounds presented on the first one.

Princess Superstar's been around since the mid 90's, but sadly the only thing i remember from that period of time is a yellow bmx i had. The bmx is long gone, but Princess Superstar isn't. She's been releasing cd's about every third year ever since, but the first time i came in contact with her on this side of the millenia was on Disco d's "A night at the booty bar" with Fuck me on the dancefloor, which is a killer tune for the disco.

And now she's back, with the single Perfect Exceeder, or Perfect (Exceeder). I don't know, but it's got tons of electronic sounding sounds in it, and at times it even touches the house genre. This might be what Leila K would've sounded like if she wasn't a quitter.

PROPER EDUCATION

Eric Prydz was the big hype, with Call on me, A few summers ago. I liked, and discovered that he made some other great house songs as well. Problem was, that he didn't make all those songs i liked, he merely remixed them. He just added some more bass to them, which he tends to do to all of his song. Effective way to get the crowd jumping, but it really got old this fall. Now he is back with a new one, a remix of the awesome Pink Floyd's Another brick in the wall. If you want some harder house, check out Woz not woz. The Proper Education Single is out tomorrow, and for some reason it contains a new fkn remix of Call on me, i think the amount of remixes of that song just hit three digits.
